Swedish/Italian furniture designer based in Stockholm. With a great passion for the creative process I try to enhance aesthetics values around us by challenging form and function.
I put much effort in designing products and environments that gives value to the people who experience it. My design is not intended to just fulfill an everyday use, but I would like it to contribute with something more. I want people to interact with my design and find there are references from art, and nature.
Much of my inspiration comes from architecture, art and geometry: Oscar Niemeyer, Felix Candela, Gio Ponti, Santiago Calatrava, Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Mark to just mention a few names.
Intentionally or casually, forms and colors from Scandinavian and Mediterranean landscapes emerge from my background.
