CAVALLETTA
I wanted to make a living room chair that would respect and not impose too much on its surroundings. A chair that is beautiful to look at, comfortable to sit on, stable but not heavy, and made of natural resources. “Cavalletta” is the result of this search and of my philosophy to design furniture that brings references from art and nature into people’s homes. The name Cavalletta comes from the form of the legs of a grasshopper, their perfect lines and joints that depict energy, lightness and strength. The material is oiled oak wood with some decorative insertion of water based colors, metal rods to increase stability, and linen covered cushions.
